Hi there, Katrina here….
I don’t always write about my personal life in my blog, sometimes you’ll hear tidbits of stuff that’s going on through articles or my videos etc.
But every once in a while it’s important for me to update my subscribers, my friends and those of you who ‘care’ about me with what’s going on. So if you’re not interested in anything but the free business and marketing tips and articles then just ignore this one. ;0)
So, right around my 40th birthday in April of this year (2010) my boyfriend, who I thought was the love of my life and would be with forever from here on out, decided that this wasn’t what he wanted for his life and he broke it off with me.
Since then I’ve been healing, focusing on myself and working through the grief of that relationship, the loss of his family, kids, him and what I thought our life would be like.
I’m in a place now where I feel really comfortable saying that I’m ready to find new love; and hopefully the RIGHT love, the one that WILL last a lifetime. I’m ready for my Happily Ever After.
I’m sharing this because…well…this is what I do. I’ve always been open, sharing, honest and to the point in business and in my personal life and I’m not going to stop doing that now.
I find that many times my sharing and openness helps others feel good about the place they’re in, so if that’s you, I hope this is helpful.
Another reason is more on the selfish line…I’m in marketing and why not market ME too. I could use YOUR help in connecting me with that possible Mr. Right for Me.
- Do you know a man that could be perfect for me? Make an introduction. I find referrals to be so much more rewarding and Right On than what I could get from online dating this time around…
- Someone that wouldn’t mind a strong, independent woman entrepreneur who makes her own money and doesn’t NEED a man but WANTS someone to spend and enjoy her life with. He’d have to be pretty secure and stable himself to be able to keep up…
I could give you a list of qualities I’m looking for, and in fact 2 1/2 years ago when I was single and looking before, I did publish that list on my blog here…you might find it on an old post sometime during January of 2008. ;0) Although there are a couple things I’ve since found that I had seemed to have left off that list….I’ll have to go revise it ASAP and put back out to the Universe.
Anywho…so yes, single again at 40 will be great I think. I’m at such a good place in my life, my business and with my mindset and can’t wait to find someone else who is truly ready for a deep, meaningful and big purposeful relationship too.

Hey Kat – you know I remember that previous list of yours fondly. Yet, you do deserve the fully committed and secure man who is around the corner.
That said; I think since you’re marketing for a guy, I’d like to start a stream of something that seems missing in your article. You are the queen of marketing, yet when it is something close like this, like most of us, you left out a key ingredient in your marketing – testimonials!
