8 Reasons to Add Teleclasses in Your Marketing
1. To use it as a lead generator or “hook” to get people interested in your services or products.
2. To keep in touch with your current client or prospect database.
3. To upsell current clients into new or additional services or products.
4. To provide extra value to your clients or prospects in regards to your products and services.
5. To be seen as more of an expert in your industry or field.
6. To use as a way to co-promote with other complimentary businesses to both of your lists in order to refer business to each other.
7. Because it can be a FREE and easy marketing touch that you add to your overall marketing plan.
8. To record and develop into an infoproduct you can sell.
I think those are definitely enough positive reasons to start doing teleclasses yourself.
Here’s 4 Easy Steps on How to Use Teleclasses in your Marketing:
1. Plan and Promote it – plan any guest speakers, topics, dates and promote it in your networking, emails, mail, to your affiliates and online (don’t forget all those social networking sites too!).
2. Outline Call Script – this is important so you keep on topic, time and are organized in your presentation or interview. Don’t have too much you want to cover, keep it simple. Opening it up for Q&A at the end too is also a great way to interact with your audience.
3. Sell Yourself – remember to add in some trial closes, offers, bonuses and call to action to get them to do something to action towards buying your products or hiring you. Set up a special landing page to send listeners to with your special offer.
4. Follow Up – follow up with recordings of the calls if you want to give registrants the link in case they can’t make it live (you’ll get more signups!), ask for the sale again, provide easy buying links, take them to the next step and ask for referrals.
