I’ve talked about this topic before but I thought I’d write about it again because it’s so important to focus your time on during this tough economic time especially!
You see, during tough times when money is tight for many of you and most of all, many of your prospective customers, it’s more important than ever for you to be 100% Authentic in your business, your life and EVERYTHING you do.
Why?
Because people notice when you’re NOT being authentic and especially now, they WILL NOT BUY FROM YOU if this is the case or if they even remotely sense that you’re not being totally true or transparent with them. They will be turned off by you if they sense you’re not being honest with them OR with yourself in one way or another.
So what can you do to make sure you’re projecting 100% authenticity in your business?
- Identify your core values and what means the most to you. Then make sure these are known, they’re tied into the copy on your website, marketing materials and when you speak.
- Write out your personal and business goals, speak them, live them, teach them and be true to them. (oh and think bigger too, but that’s a whole other subject!)
- Visualize your deep desires. Think about where you’re lacking in life, what have you neglected (maybe yourself?) and then find a way to turn those around so that you’re achieving your desires. Those who see that you’re doing this will want to follow you and learn from you so they can have theirs too.
- Set your priorities and stick to them. Don’t say you’re going to make time for yourself, your massages or your family and then NOT follow through; that’s being in-authentic with yourself and it shows!
- Realize and LIVE your true Life’s Purpose. Make sure you’re in the business or doing the thing that makes you happy, don’t just be doing what you’re doing to pay the bills; life is wayyyy too short!
Hopefully I’ve given you something to think about as far as how you can redesign your life or business (There’s always room for improvement!).
