Want to follow your passion but don’t know where to start?

Joey Reiman, the father of “ideation,” suggests these nine questions to help you discover your inner fire:

Do you have a job, a career or a calling?
If you received $50 million, what would you do?
What do you love?
What is your strength?
What makes you smile?
What do you dream about doing?
What would get you out of bed in the morning?
Are you living your dream or someone else’s?
What will be written on your tombstone?

And career coach Monica Parker adds six more strategies for uncovering your passion:

Take note of things that pique your interest, such as conversations you overhear.
List your talents
Listen to your secret fantasies
Keep a journal on the life you want to live, and what your ideal day looks like
Brainstorm with trusted friends about what you’re good at
Remember your childhood career dreams
