Information Marketing Summit – recap

My trip to St. Louis for the Glazer-Kennedy Information Marketing Summit was a big success.

I was an exhibitor at this event because many of the ‘newbie’ information marketers are my ideal target market. Here is Kim Kerns, one of my assistants (virtual most of the time), and me in my booth –>.

We had a good time but it was a long 4 days for sure….conference all day and in between working the booth. Thank goodness she agreed to come with me; I would not have wanted to do this all alone. Plus, she got some new clients to boot!

This is Ari Galper, creator of Unlock the Game and Chatwise. Ari and I have known each other through the conference circuit for a few years now and now we’re planning on doing a joint venture together next year with my Ultimate Marketing Follow Up System and his Chatwise program too – he was a speaker at this event and he made an offer on his system that I had to snatch up! (I’ll tell you more about his system in future ezines – make sure you’re getting them, sign up in the top right!)

A close up of me and Kim….

This is me and Robert Skrob, the President and CEO of the Information Marketing Association – if you’re an info-marketer, this is a membership you want to be a part of for sure!

Then, just me in my booth….

This is Vince with Adtoons.com – he had a booth right next to me so we became buddies….he draws you as a character or ‘toon’ that you can use in your marketing. It’s a fun concept and he’s really good! Instead of drawing me as a character, he drew me and ‘my big vision’ which was cool to have him pull it out of me like that – I can’t wait to see the finished product!

These gals I seem to see everywhere now and we’re becoming great friends!
From left to right, Kelly O’Neil with Uplevel Strategies, me, Melanie Benson Strick with The Success Connection and Beth Schnieder with Process Prodigy.

Another fun group – Melanie again, Bari with Sage Event Management (she and her team are awesome – I can’t wait to hire her to run my event in 09!), Fabienne Fredrickson and me!

I didn’t take a whole lot of pictures….no time….but lots of learning, networking and early mornings! (oh and bad service at the hotel….really bad)
I’ll write more tips about what I learned very soon!
