THRIVE starts August 3rd … biz owners, it’s LONG Overdue

It’s FINALLY here.

It’s one of those things you wish you had when you first started your business, or when you first set out to hire your first Virtual Assistant.

It’s the THRIVE Hiring System and it’s CRITICAL to any online entrepreneur who:

  • already has a virtual team in place,
  • is thinking of hiring their first VA or
  • wants to have a successful online based business

Business owners are still struggling in this area, we continue to hear things like:

  • · “Try as I might, I just can’t find the person I need! Where the heck are all the good ones?”
  • · I thought I found a really great person but once she got on the job things fell flat. For some reason she just didn’t deliver what I thought we had agreed upon.”
  • · “Most of the time things are pretty good with my team, but there are times I get really frustrated… Quite honestly….I feel like I’m settling.
  • “I’ve been burned so many times I’m at my wits end… I know I need to hire someone but I’m so gun-shy. I don’t know who to trust anymore.

How to Effectively Follow Up From a Big Conference

Attending, speaking at and being an exhibitor at large conferences and business events are one of the primary ways that bring me consistent client and cash flow.

If you haven’t considered doing this in your business for your niche or target market then I can tell you that you’re missing out on thousands of dollars worth of sales.

If you are doing this as one of your current marketing strategies then that’s great but I’ll bet you’re not maximizing your exposure or time while you’re there to the fullest extent?

One of the biggest mistakes I see business owners make when they do attend, speak at or become an exhibitor at a large conference is that they don’t have an effective plan for immediate follow up.

I’d say that 1% of them do a decent job at their follow up but seriously NO business does enough – EVER!

So what do you do and how do you know what to send, to say, to follow up about or for?

Here are a few key things you can do to follow up from different situations even too:

You’re Invited to a Global Event to Chart Your Course from Aspiring Author to Best-Seller and Beyond . . .And, It’s FREE Starting August 2!

Did you know that one of the best ways that an entrepreneur can stand out from the competition is to write a book?

When you’re an author, you have a business card that lasts forever, sharing your message and wisdom with the world. In fact, a book is often your ticket to getting invitations for paid speaking engagements, media attention, information products, higher fees, and a steady stream of clients.

Are You Prepared for a Big Conference?

Attending, speaking at and being an exhibitor at large conferences and business events are one of the primary ways that bring me consistent client and cash flow.

If you haven’t considered doing this in your business for your niche or target market then I can tell you that you’re missing out on thousands of dollars worth of sales!  No matter what your business is or what industry you’re in, there is a conference, or two or three every year that are probably perfect for you to have major exposure at in order to generate new leads or customers.

If you are doing this as one of your current marketing strategies then that’s great but I’ll bet you’re not maximizing your exposure or time while you’re there to the fullest extent?

You know how I know this?  Because I’ve spoken to and seen thousands of small business owners in attendance, as speakers and as exhibitors at these conferences over the last 20+ years that have no idea what they are doing.

So, how do you prepare for such a possible huge opportunity as this?  There are a few key things you can do to be prepared:

The Top 10 Questions When Hiring a Virtual Team

I wanted to take a few minutes to share something with you … honestly, if this information had been out when I started my business, I’d be years ahead!

Like many business owners, I’ve run into my own share of challenges on deciding whether I should hire team members, who I should hire, what tasks I should delegate, could I really afford to hire and whether I should just do it myself.

It was really through much trial and error that I became more comfortable and aware with how to find and work with great people I could rely on, who REALLY cared about my business and who had a vested interest in my success.

Are You Hanging Around Toxic People?

Let me ask you a question…

Are you surrounding yourself with the right kinds of people?

One thing I’ve learned in business and in life is that it’s vital to my success as a person and a business owner to only keep company or surround myself with people who are good for me.

This has a lot to do with marketing too if you think about it because it comes back to your target market - who is that ideal type of customer that you want to work with? A few of you might not be able to control those who you work with and those you don’t however I hope that most of us can. But do you choose wisely? Or do you follow the greed; greed for the next sale or the money that will come in with every new client and what that money will be able to bring you – luxuries, commodities, basic necessities, etc. [Read more...]

You Get What You Pay For

You Get What You Pay ForYou’ve heard the phrase but do you really pay attention to this when it comes to investing in yourself or your business?

Many entrepreneurs do not, I know because I talk with hundreds of women entrepreneurs every month! They continuously are trying to find ways to cut costs, get stuff for free, find someone to trade for services or reason why they ‘can’t afford it’ or shouldn’t invest.

It’s really clear and simple what I tell them and so I’ll keep this short and sweet.

Yes it’s fine and very important to cut costs when you can in your life and business, in any economic market.

However, when it comes to necessary things in the running and marketing of your business or making sales why would you risk it?
